La Orquesta Típica Imperial es una agrupación de jóvenes músicos argentinos, de Buenos Aires (tres bandoneonistas, cuatro violinistas, contrabajista, pianista y cantor) que encontraron en el tango una música con gran identidad y posibilidades expresivas. A partir de una sólida interpre tación, con un estilo marcado y de gran riqueza rítmica y armónica, con la sonoridad característica de las grandes orquestas que marcaron la evolución del género (Pugliese, Troilo, Di Sarli, etc.), pero a través de composiciones originales y versiones personales de las piezas clásicas, la orquesta logra llegar al público y emocionar.

A lo largo de sus giras, la OTI se ha presentado en escenarios tan importantes como el Festival de Jazz de Montreal, el Summer Stage de Quebec, el Lincoln Center Out of Doors de New York, el Chicago Cultural Center, los teatros Kit Tropentheater y De Doelen de Holanda, el Palacio Nacional de Cultura de Sofía, el teatro Victoria Eugenia de San Sebastián, entre otros, además de los festivales de tango más importantes en Argentina y otros países de Latinoamérica y Europa. + Ver más presentaciones

The Orquesta Tipica Imperial is a young Argentinian musicians group, from Buenos Aires (three bandoneons, four violins, bass, piano and voice) who found in tango a great identifying musical environment with lots of expressive possibilities. Through a solid interpretation, clear and precise style and great harmonic and rhythmic richness, the Orchestra achieves to reach the public and excite it. Always with the characteristic sound of the great historical orchestras which have set the style evolution.

Along its tours, the OTI have performed in such important stages as Montreal Jazz Festival, the Summer Stage in Quebec, the Lincoln Center Out of Doors of New York, the Chicago Cultural Center, the Kit Tropentheater and De Doelen theater in Holland, the National Culture Palace of Sofia, the Victoria Eugenia theater of San Sebastian, among others, besides the most important tango festivals in Argentina and other countries of Latin America and Europ. + View more presentations
